WOW! Seems like such a small word, but it really describes my feelings toward each parent that helped kick off the start of a great band year. I appreciate everyone being involved with your student’s band experience as it goes a long way to show your student you care and makes my job easier. It takes more than one person to run this organization and I am truly blessed to have great officers and parents that go the extra mile. A special thank you to Terri Cole who helped me get through Band Camp!
Our Covered Dish Dinner was a great success with plenty of great music, food and fellowship. I appreciate everyone that attended and especially would like to thank those who donated tables, brought food, set up, served, and stayed for clean up. Thanks to Dorothy Walker for organizing this event for the band.
The ButterBraid and football season ticket sales were fantastic! A big THANKS to Jennifer Lebechuck, Ann Rossman, and Dorothy Walker for their hard work on those sales. Fruit sales are just around the corner, so get your customers lined up now for that fundraiser to raise as much credit as you can toward your spring trip or next year's $o
I hope that each of you will make plans to attend all football games and competitions your schedule will allow. The booster section at our home opener and Antioch games were both filled to capacity and a great time was had by all. Parent enthusiasm and excitement creates a fun atmosphere for the students and will then exude enthusiasm for the crowd and players.
The uniform committee is working hard to prepare our uniforms. I appreciate Annette Picklesimer for chairing the Uniform Committee and those serving on the committee hemming and washing the uniforms to keep them looking great.
