Next Booster Meeting:

We had a very busy October and will soon move into the hectic holiday season, and I want to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication toward your student’s band experience. This organization simply cannot function without everyone’s participation.

THANK YOU to all the current and alumni students and parents that helped make Division I Competition a success. We could not have done it without you! An even bigger THANKS to Angie Ray, Karla Brown, and Nancy Franklyn for chairing this year’s committee. You are awesome! The event was well-organized and we received many great compliments - posted on the band website.

Results of this year’s competition are still being tallied. If you have any receipts, please be sure to label them with your name and the appropriate area to put the expenses, and turn them in to the white box. If you used the Band Booster charge cards, turn in those receipts as well.

Our fruit and fudge sale continues until December 2nd for the Christmas delivery. The Thanksgiving delivery is on the 22nd. Don’t forget to sign up for a pickup time and remember to deliver promptly to your customers to ensure freshness. Thank you to those who have assisted Patti Powell with the fruit sale this year.

Basketball season starts this month. Look elsewhere in this magazine for more information concerning our involvement.

As we approach the busy holiday season, it is important that you check the band website regularly or ask your student for an updated calendar distributed in class for upcoming events and be sure to add them to your already overloaded calendar. There will NOT be a band booster meeting in December. The January Booster meeting will be on January 13th.

Once again, I would like to thank each of you for your loyal support and wish each of you safe travels and a blessed holiday season.
