H. Clifford Curry, II Band…some days you love it, others it will have you tired and ready to go home.  I can’t believe this is my last year.  I will miss playing in all the games and the awesome bus rides that were amazing by the PS2 and getting the attention of cows, horses and strange people who will wave at anything.  I wish the percussion section the best for next year’s marching season.

To Mr. Meers, Mr. A and Tim, thank you for four unforgettable years of music.

To Mom, you are the best and I love you.

After graduation, I plan to build a drift car while I go to school at Tennessee Tech.

I will miss everyone in band very much… (I start to cry).

P. S.  Next year, tell my friend Joe I said Hi and when left and right happens, don’t forget to look at the “you know what’s” in the front (lol).  I love you guys dearly.  DON’T FORGET ME!      Cliff

Cliff,

This is probably the only time you will hear me say I am at a loss of words.  Enjoy it!

I have told you time and again that I know you are my gift from God.  I am blessed every morning I see your face and start the day off yelling, “get up Cliff”.  Watching you grow from making a mess with a spoon and a plate of food, to your surprise with the first award, to whatever that is you were on Halloween, I have loved and enjoyed every hour, minute and second.  I started to live the day you were born and I am so very proud of you..…(I start to cry).

I predict whatever you decide to do with your life will be successful.  (Even the drifting thing, if that is what you decide to do).  As hard as it is for me to accept that “my baby” has grown up right before my eyes, I am ready to see where you are going next.

Remember to pray and take the Good Lord with you every step of the way.  And always remember, “I love you kid.”
