Next Booster Meeting: |

The election of the Band Booster Officers for the 2009-2010 school year will be held at the upcoming booster meeting, March 10. Please be there to show your support for our new officers. The open positions are President, Vice-President, and Treasurer. We had a good turnout for each of the Freshman Band Open Houses we recently held. Parents and students from the feeder middle schools came to visit the band room and facilities, and to meet with current members and parents. Thanks to Patti Powell for organizing these evenings. The school-wide Freshman Orientation was held on March 3 in the gym. Thanks again to Patti for all her recruiting efforts and all those who helped her in the gym at the band display booth, greeting prospective parents and students and answering questions about the band experience in high school. We look forward to the new relationships we will have with the Class of 2013 parents and students! Spring is upon us and car wash season is just around the corner. Paul Schoenfeld has found us a new, better location to have our car washes this year at the Community Bank on Old Fort Pkwy (across from Target). Be sure and watch for dates of car washes starting soon. Remember the Fruit Sale Reward Party (lock-in), Friday, March 13. Thanks to Angie Ray for organizing this special time for the students to thank them for their participation in the annual fruit sale last fall. A letter concerning the activities and rules for the party is included in this edition of the Warrior Notes. Please take note of this message from Angie. Come and have a good time -- 6:00 pm until midnight! I look forward to seeing everyone at the booster meeting on Tuesday, March 10. The April meeting will be Tuesday, April 14, at 7:00 pm in the band room. ~ Keith |
