We had a great response at the band table for Freshman Orientation last Tuesday. Thanks to
Tina Beasley, Karla Brown, Terri Cole, Lynda Creech, Jana Fann, Nancy Franklyn, Lisa Hart, Jennifer Lebechuck, Mary Meyer, Patti Powell, Angie Ray, and Gary and Julie Reed
for greeting prospective parents/students and answering questions about the band experience. We look forward to the new friendships we will have with our Class of 2012 Freshman parents and students! I look forward to seeing everyone on the 11th!

At our most recent booster meeting, we made an unanimous decision to implement a "Fair Share" increase in band dues for 2008-09. This means that each child will be required to achieve $200 of credit by fundraising
OR
pay the additional funds directly by the end of November. There will be provisions made for siblings. We have not had a dues increase in quite some time and we need to supplement the budget to provide some necessary equipment and additional renovation items for our students.
The election of Band Booster Officers for the 2008-09 school year will be held at the upcoming booster meeting. Please be there to show your support for our new officers. The nominations are:
