Chris Murphree Band has been quite a fascinating experience for me.  I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it throughout these last four years.  The friends I’ve made and skills I’ve learned will be with me forever.  I think by far this last year has been the best for the Class of 2007, especially for the percussion section.  We’ve acquired several awards and I am happy to go out on top with possibly the best drumline I’ve been a part of at Riverdale.

I’d like to thank Mr. Meers and Mr. Aymett for their advice throughout the years.  I am so thankful that you both encouraged me not to quit band during rough times.  I’d also like to thank Mr. Tim Hale, a great teacher and friend, for sharing his talent and skills.  He’s really helped me progress through the years musically and taught me many things.

I will miss the Warrior Band next year, but will be beginning a new experience with band in college.  I’d like to thank my family for all their support these last few years, especially Mom and Dad.  If I didn’t have the support you guys give me, I don’t think I’d be where I am right now.  Thank you for putting up with all the crazy schedules and conflicts my music life has caused you.  To all my friends, I wish you the best of luck in life, and thank you for being a part of mine.  Thank you for helping me to create what will be some of my best memories of my years at Riverdale. You guys are great!
