NOTARY Needed!! We will need the assistance of a Notary Public to notarize the student's health forms on the uniform check-out dates, July 23th, 24th, and 26th.

If you are a Notary, or know a Notary who would volunteer their time to help, please contact Keith Patrick.
Band CONTRACT/DUES
and UNIFORM Check-out
Band agreement contracts must be turned in and dues paid in full before the student can be fitted for their marching uniform.  These dues are essential for our band to be able to function.

Please check the attached calendar for uniform check-out dates.  If you have any questions regarding your dues, please contact Keith Patrick at 867-3998.

Also, please remember that
every student (including guard members) must be accompanied by a parent at uniform check-out to have their health forms signed and notarized before being fitted for their uniform.  You will need to know your child's last Tetanus shot and provide any other pertinent medical information we might need to have on file for your child.
Returned CHECK Policy
If you haven't already, don't forget to purchase a Kroger gift card from the band!  This is an easy fundraiser that requires no selling!

We keep up with your card number and when we get a check from Kroger, 4% of your purchases will be added to your child's band account after the band receives $50.00 per family per year.  (We must have $5,000 in "reloads" to receive a check.)  We get monthly reports from Kroger and the year will be from August to August.  You may get and use as many cards as you want (tell all your family and friends) and they will all go to your child's account.  Charge your cards at the check-out or service desk with cash, check, or credit card.  The gift cards may also be used at the pharmacy and gas station.

Cher Jones (893-5817 home and 566-8794 cell) will have these available to purchase at the booster meetings.
KROGER Cares Fundraiser Upcoming FUNDRAISERS The band will be selling ButterBraids (a frozen pastry product made in Iowa) with the kick-off on August 14th.  They come in six flavors of cinnamon, apple, cream cheese, cherry, peach, and blueberry cream.  Each braid feeds 8-10 people and will sell for $10 each.  The band will receive a 50% profit share if we sell 1,500.  Further details will be provided at the covered dish dinner, as well as samples to try!

Other fundraisers to be discussed at the meeting include:

October - TN Division I State Marching Band Competiton
Oct/Nov/Dec - Band Fruit Sales
VOLUNTEER Committees We need all parents to be involved with their child’s experience in the band.  It can be the most rewarding time of your life and theirs.  It truly takes "a village" to run this band from preparing food to hammering nails.

Attached is a list of just a few of the committees we will need volunteers to help with.  Please look it over and see if something interests you.  Also, the Guard is always looking for volunteers who like to sew to help with making their flags. All of these committees will be explained further at the booster meeting.  Sign-up sheets will be available  at uniform check-out.

Any amount of time you can spare or any project you can help out with would be most appreciated.  Your child will be proud of your commitment to making their band experience the greatest.
Don’t be shy!   There is a place for everyone!
