Next Booster Meeting:

Happy New Year everyone!!

 

I hope that you have all had a great holiday break and ready for the rest of the year’s band activities. There are several things that will be planned for the remainder of the school year and I hope that everyone can be involved, especially the newest parents of our group. We have a lot of wonderful parents who are ready to pitch in whenever and wherever they are needed and I really appreciate all the support with the program. Your giving spirit goes a long way in helping the kids achieve great things in their band experience.

A HUGE THANK YOU!! goes out to Brandon Ray and his team of helpers for all the fantastic work he has done in renovating the band room! Make sure and come by the school and see all the improvements in the ceiling and walls! Great Job, Brandon! You have surely earned that Eagle Scout award!! And thanks to everyone who contributed funds needed for the work!

One of the things we will be discussing at the upcoming Booster meeting is the Fruit Sale award lock-in for the students who participated in the Fruit Sale. It is set for March 13, in the school gym. More details will come home with your students at a later date. We will need parents to supervise this event. Please volunteer!

The school board has approved the band’s spring trip to St. Louis, Missouri. It is set for April 2-4. Please keep up with the payment schedule if you plan to go! The first payment is due NOW. It is $125, with $75 required to be paid in check or cash and the remainder can be drawn from the students account, if available. The $75 portion is non-refundable.
