Next Booster Meeting:

Is it really February?? Wow! Time really does fly! There are only a few months left in the school year, but as usual there is always work to do for everyone!

 

The next few months will have a couple of concerts and festivals for the students, the spring trip to St. Louis in April, some car washes in the spring, the Jazz and Java event in May, band banquet and of course, graduation. Be sure and watch for dates and times to be announced for each of these events. Adult help will be needed with all of these things. Please be ready and willing to help out.

 

There will also be a couple of chances for us to meet with incoming freshmen and their parents. The first will be February 19th, in the band room for future band members only, and then again on March 3rd, when the county will be holding the county-wide orientation at each high school. If you are asked to assist on these nights, again, please be eager to help in any way you can. Your help is always much appreciated!!

 

Remember, the Fruit Sale Reward Party will be on March 13. Thanks to Angie Ray for organizing this special time for the students who participated in the annual sale.

 

We will be nominating new officers for the 2009-2010 school year at our Booster meeting Tuesday, February 10, and voting on their installation at the March meeting. Please attend these meetings if you can. Your input is important in all the band's activities.

 

I continue to appreciate all the hard work and support that each of you gives me and the band program. The March Booster meeting will be March 10th, at 7 pm.
