Scott Willis Senior Spotlight '07

I have enjoyed the past four years being a part of the Riverdale Warrior Marching Band. I first joined band in the 5th grade not knowing what I was getting myself into. I am glad that I decided to stick with the band program throughout high school. I have learned many things as well as made life-long friends. I have had the privilege the past two years of being Field Commander. I have enjoyed that very much and am proud to say that I have been able to uphold that position. I want to thank Mr. Meers and Mr. Aymett for allowing me to have the honor. They have taught me a great deal of things from how to fix a broken instrument to how to be able to handle situations with my peers. I would also like to thank my mom and dad for being there through these past four years. You have been to countless numbers of football games and competitions and I won’t forget any of them!

I plan on attending either Belmont University or MTSU and will major in music with emphasis on vocal performance. I plan to be a member of the Band of Blue or Vandy Marching Band (Belmont). I hope everyone will enjoy their high school years, and take advantage of all the opportunities that are given to you.
