2007 30th Annual Division I State CHAMPIONSHIP Competition

Riverdale Band 2007 COMPETITIONS Speaking of competitions, the Riverdale Warrior Band has completed Band Camp and they will be continuing to work hard over the next few weeks to get ready for their upcoming competitions. The show is titled "City Sketches" and showcases songs of composer Leonard Bernstein. They include West Side Story, Mombo, On The Town, Make Our Garden Grow, and Candide. Our students have put a lot of sweat and dedication already into learning their drill and music and we need to make sure they have our support in the audience when they perform. Please make every effort to attend their competitions and cheer them on! One of the ways you can show your support and let them know you are in the stands is to purchase a show shirt. The artwork for the shirt is as shown and orders will be taken at the Covered Dish Dinner. The competition dates are as follows:

Saturday, September 22nd - Columbia Contest, Columbia, TN
Saturday, October 13th - Volunteer Classic, Maryville, TN
Saturday, October 20th - MCI, Magavock HS
Saturday, October 27th - Contest of Champions, MTSU
Saturday, November 3rd - Exhibition Performance for Division I Competition
