President's MESSAGE
A special
"Warrior Welcome"
to all the incoming Freshmen who are receiving this newsletter! I look forward to meeting all of you and your parents on Tuesday, May 15th, at 7:00 PM in the Band Room for a New Band Member Orientation meeting.
We had a lot of fun and have a lot of memories from our New York City trip. If you haven't heard a story or two, ask someone who was on the trip. Especially the one about the 5 hour bus ride to the hotel from the city!
Our last business meeting for this school year will be Tuesday, April 10th at 7:00 PM in the Band Room. Due to the Band Banquet and a New Band Member Orientation meeting on May 15th, there will be no booster meeting in May. There is also no booster meeting or newsletter in June. The next newsletter will be in May as a reminder for all our end of the year events and the last of the Senior Spotlights.
This newsletter contains the 2007-2008 Band Agreements. These need to be completed and turned in as soon as possible for those students who are returning next year. The dues payment information is also included in this newsletter. All unpaid balances must be cleared from the student accounts before May 1st. Please make sure your account is paid in full by May 1st. If you have any questions concerning your account, please contact Karen Rogers by e-mail (see Booster page on Band website).
Some items to be discussed at our next meeting include: The Tommy McClurken Band Booster of the Year Award Vote, Spring Concert (April 30th), Car Wash at the Advanced Auto Parts store on Church Street (April 28th), Jazz & Java fundraiser (May 10th), Band Banquet (May 14th), and a few chair positions for next year. See you on the 10th at 7PM in the Band Room!
